New metal wiring fire resistant boxes – KPK Series with electrical functional integrity in fire up to E90

We proudly introduce the new KPK metal wiring boxes, specifically designed to maintain electrical circuit integrity for up to 90 minutes in the event of a fire. These boxes are engineered for maximum safety in emergency situations, providing stable performance at high temperatures without degradation of properties. Thanks to their fire-resistant design, they are ideal for special-purpose applications with strict safety requirements—such as protected escape routes (PERs), fire door control, emergency smoke extraction, fire alarm system power supply, and more.

The wiring boxes are made of galvanized steel coated with a UV-resistant polyester powder coating. They feature soft plastic grommets for easy cable entry, tested to withstand a fire loop test at 650 °C. Each box is supplied with SB 3.5×45 concrete screws for secure mounting on solid surfaces.

• Fire resistance classification: up to E90
• Reaction to fire (EU classification): Class A1
• Protection class: IP40
• Mechanical resistance: IK07

Compliance with standards: ČSN 73 0895, DIN 4102-12, and STN 92 0205.

Declared fire-resistant properties are regularly tested by the PAVUS fire chamber.

The KPK metal boxes are suitable for both standardized and non-standardized fire-resistant constructions, and are available in three size variants for either power or signal distribution.
